To enable a fitness trainer to practice their profession within the United Arab Emirates, they must obtain a no-objection certificate from the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation. This certificate is then submitted to the General Authority for Sports. These procedures are essential for residency.

The processing time for the transaction is two working days. The trainer receives the certificate immediately upon submission. Then, they are given a six-month period to pass the test. The first attempt at the test is free, while the second attempt incurs a fee of 350 AED, including VAT. If the trainer fails the test, they are required to complete a 96-hour training course over three months.
