The competitions of the second edition of the "Ajman International Bodybuilding Championship", organized by the Ajman Tourism Development Department in cooperation with the International Federation of Body Building IFBB and the Emirates Federation for Body Building and Fitness EBFF, were successfully concluded, where the tournament witnessed the distinguished participation of professional athletes and those interested in the field of bodybuilding and fitness. .
The "Ajman International Bodybuilding Championship" was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Emirates Federation for Bodybuilding and Fitness, Vice President of the Asian Federation of Bodybuilding; Dr. Rafael Santonga, President, IFBB; Dr. Adel Fahim, Senior Vice President of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness IFBB, President of the Arab and African Federations of Bodybuilding, President of the Egyptian Federation of Bodybuilding; Elite Pro star Michael Krizanek was the guest of honor throughout the tournament, for the first time in the Arab region.
233 players from different countries of the world participated in the "Ajman International Championship for Body Building", which was held at the Cultural Center in Ajman, and the value of the prizes exceeded 100,000 dirhams. After the great success of the championship last season, it turned into an international championship accredited by the International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB), and the Elite Pro category was added to this year's edition to be held for the first time in the Arab countries.
The tournament adopted the electronic arbitration system that was agreed upon during the General Assembly of the International Federation, while the winners of the professional cards of the Ajman Championship qualified directly to the competition. Professional cards have been activated in the professional category of the same competition, which is the first time that Elite Pro professional cards have been activated for players from Arab countries.
The tournament witnessed great competition in the amateur category, which was divided into the body building category, the classic bodybuilding category, the physical category, the classic physique, the scholastic physique category, the body style category, in addition to the professional category.
