Dibba Classic
UAE athletes won 26 medals at the conclusion of the third Dibba International Bodybuilding and Physics competition, which was held at the Meydan Hotel in Dubai last Friday and Saturday, and was organized under the supervision of the Emirates Bodybuilding and fitness Federation and UAE athletes won 8 gold, 10 silver and 8 bronze.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Body Building and Fitness Federation, and his deputy, Ali bin Haider, crowned the winners, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Federation, Muhammad Abdul Rahim Al Marri, and members Faisal Al Ghais Al Zaabi and Ahmed Jawhar.
The results of the winners of the Champions Cup resulted in Majid Ali Nejad from the UAE winning the first place for Physique category, followed by Ali Al-Naqbi from the UAE second, and Saeed Ahmed from Yemen third. In the category of bodybuilding champions, Abbas Salari from Iran came first, David Badiba from Nigeria came second, and Abdulaziz Qahtan Al Shehhi from the UAE came third. In the Champion of Champions category in the Classic Physique, Fouad Iyad from Iraq won the first place, followed by Ibrahim Rashid from the UAE second, and Rashid Barak from Kuwait.
Sheikh Abdullah Al Sharqi praised the distinguished organizational efforts revealed by the competition and the precise precautionary measures, in addition to the meticulous judicial aspect that was supervised by the Spanish international judge Jose Maria, the Vice President of the Georgian Federation of Bodybuilding Athena Polopova, and the Omani referee Ammar Al Hosani.
