Yesterday, the Emirates Center for Sports Science and Sports Medicine and the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at developing and refining sports personnel.
The MoU was signed by Abdullah Hassan Mahyooq, interim chairman of the Emirates Center for Sports Science and Sports Medicine, and Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Marri, Secretary-General of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, and Abdulaziz Al Hasaan, Executive Director of Competitive Sports Management at the General Authority for Sports, who serves as the Executive Director of the Center, alongside several representatives from both sides.
The memorandum, signed at the Emirates Center for Sports Science and Sports Medicine, aims to establish a general framework for cooperation between the parties in education, scientific research, training, and support for development and culture programs.
Both parties seek to enhance the efficiency of the workforce in the sports sector and develop the sports professions system through knowledge and experience exchange, as well as organizing specialized training courses and workshops.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi emphasized the Board of Directors' commitment to providing the best means to enhance sustainable development of Emirati sports through collaboration with all sports entities, including the Emirates Center for Sports Science and Sports Medicine, which plays a pivotal role in promoting sports culture according to the highest international standards.
